Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group Clay Shoot Benefiting Construction Angels

Construction industry professionals gathered for a day of competition in support of Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group’s inaugural charity clay shoot benefitting Construction Angels.  Held at New Albany, Indiana’s Sporting Club at The Farm, the event brought together a spirited community of customers, sponsors, and Mt. Carmel team members.

The clay shoot saw perfect weather and enthusiastic participation, with 79 shooters taking part in the event. The competition was friendly yet enthusiastic, with participants showcasing their shooting skills and enjoying the camaraderie of the day. The beautiful setting of The Sporting Club provided the perfect backdrop for a day of fun and philanthropy.

After a day of shooting, attendees gathered for dinner at Caesar's Southern Indiana, where they shared stories, celebrated the day's successes, and had an opportunity to hear from Jennifer McCloskey, National Coordinator for Construction Angels, on just how their participation will impact the organization.

Thanks to the generous contributions and support from everyone involved, the event successfully raised $50,000. The monies raised will aid the organization's mission of providing immediate financial assistance and grief counseling to families of fallen construction workers, ensuring that their sacrifices are honored, and their loved ones are supported during difficult times.

Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group, Inc. is honored to have hosted this event and looks forward to more events like this in the future. The success of the clay shoot would not have been possible without the partnership of our friends at The Wirtgen Group and the generosity of all our sponsors.
