Mt Carmel Through the Years
1918
Mt. Carmel Sand & Gravel Founded – Mt. Carmel, IL
1949
First Soil Cement (Full Depth Reclamation) Project – Wabash County, IL
1969
Ed McPherson joins the company to promote stabilization
1980
First large-scale site stabilization project – Wentzville, MO; company begins expanding
1995
MCSG completes millions of square yards of stabilization at the New Denver International Airport. Expansion across US begins.
1998
Full Time Presence in Kansas, Missouri, Chicago, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio
2001
Company Moves to Current Headquarters in Mt. Carmel, IL
2005
Changed company name to Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group, Inc.
2009
Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group North, Inc. begins work based out of Ontario, Canada.
2019
Ohio office opens – Dublin, OH
2020
The Training Center in Mt. Carmel, IL opened
Also the Kansas City office opened
2021
Over 1 million tons installed for the first time
2022
Over 1.2 Million tons installed
