Two Days of Industry Connection, Golf, Clay Shooting, and Giving Back
The 2025 Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group Annual Event brought together contractors, vendors, industry partners, and friends for two unforgettable days of networking, charity, and camaraderie at the iconic French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana.
With a focus on building relationships and creating meaningful impact, this event combined professional connection with a shared commitment to giving back to two incredible organizations: the ESS Foundation and Habelfest, hosted by BarnRaisers of Indiana.
Day One: Golf Outing at the Donald Ross Course and Evening Reception
The event began Thursday with a golf scramble at the legendary Donald Ross Course. Eighty-eight participants hit the fairways, enjoying warm weather, scenic views, and the opportunity to connect with peers from across the construction industry.
That evening, over 120 guests gathered at the stunning Pete Dye Pavilion for a dinner reception featuring delicious food, live music, and meaningful conversation.
During the evening program, Tim Paulson of Emery Sapp & Sons and James Belange of Compass Commercial Construction shared stories highlighting how this year’s charitable contributions will directly support students entering the construction industry through the ESS Foundation and young people throughout Indiana as a result of the work done by Barnraisers of Indiana.
Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group President Neil Ryan closed the night with a challenge to all attendees: to take the spirit of unity, generosity, and purpose from this event and carry it back into their own organizations and communities.
Thanks to the overwhelming support of our attendees and sponsors, $50,000 was raised for the ESS Foundation and Habelfest, bringing the two-year total giving of this event to $100,000.
Day Two: Clay Shoot at The Stables at French Lick
Friday morning brought a spirited sporting clays competition at The Stables at French Lick Resort, offering a relaxed and enjoyable end to the event. Despite a touch of rain, participants had a blast testing their aim and enjoying one last chance to connect.
